Deerfield conceived in the summer of 2001, Deerfield was started as a recording project for the songs of Roger Nelson. Fresh out of Alt-Electro-Country act “Nothingstands” in the spring of 2002 Roger decided to put together a three piece band to perform the songs recorded over the winter. With a solid rhythm section in tact Roger was free to take on the challenges of singing & playing guitar.
