The Superfantastics

Made up of Matt MacDonald (vocals, guitar) and Stephanie d'Entremont (drums, vocals), The Superfantastics have been performing regularly throughout the East Coast since the winter of 2005. In that time, the band has showcased at The Halifax Pop Explosion, Gobblefest in Sydney, NS and Close to the Coast in Charlottetown, PEI. In June of 2006, The Superfantastics released their debut EP, Like Letters. The album highlights the band's innovative approach to songwriting, as they mix together elements of the classic Halifax pop sound with a well-considered minimalist approach. Recorded and manufactured by the group, the album quickly sold out of its initial pressing.
